Ages Upon Ages -- The Guild Chapel, Stratford-upon-Avon

The Guild Chapel dates to the fifteenth century, thus predating Henry VIII and the later iconoclastic period.
A common feature of these old English churches is the old woodwork.   I photographed several instances of
such woodwork , straining to imagining the hundreds of years and thousands of hands that slowly
wore down the detail.
